After 40+ years of marriage, three kids, the grandkids, and quarantine time on our hands, fitness enthusiast (and my husband) Rudy and I decided to do a podcast! “The Fitness Roadmap” is funny and informative inspiration for a more fit life.

You’ve heard about my journey from essentially being a couch potato to creating a more active lifestyle. Now we want to help others who want to improve their fitness as well!

Episode #1: What’s Your Why?

There’s a “why” for every decision that we make. Husband and wife team Robin and Rudy discuss making the decision to embark on a plan for those who want to get in shape. Rudy has been a trainer for over 20 years. Robin was the reluctant participant until she dipped her toe in the water and began to see the results in her health and appearance. Together they provide inspiration and tips on how to adopt a healthier lifestyle! In this episode, they help you address the first question, “what’s your why?”Grab your checklist and join us to start your own fitness journey!

Episode #2: Planning & Assessment

Ready. Set. Go? If you drive a car and turn out the lights and navigation system, you probably won’t know where you’re going. Preparing before you start an exercise program can be a similar experience. What is your personal health situation? What kind of injuries or limitations might impact what you can do? What’s in your family history that you should consider? What kind of time do you realistically have to work out? Today we’re talking about how being armed with this information and more, will help you develop a successful routine that works for YOU!
